System update

If I think I've written something worthwhile, I'll put it here

Those of you who’ve subscribed to my substack know it’s almost completely inactive. I do nearly all my writing on Twitter, because many of my followers are Afghan and none of the proposed Twitter-substitutes has a substantial audience in this country.

But for more than one reason, I now think any thread I put together that’s reasonably interesting should be copied to Substack as well. So with the help of Typefully.com, the excellent editing app I use (free for basic users, a little more if you plan to post lots of pics), I’ve migrated some of my past highlights to the “Notes” section.
